The District 7 Volleyball Coaches Association is the regional affiliate of the Ohio State Volleyball Coaches Association (OHSVCA). The coaches association was formed back in the late 70’s and early 80’s in a combined effort to recognize outstanding athletes and to give coaches in our area a voice to the state association and with the OHSAA.
District 7 includes the counties in the extreme northwest of Ohio. For a district map please go to the state organization website at www.ohsvca.org
Meetings are hosted annually and are generally the Sunday after the regular season ends. All high school coaches are welcomed to join us. the registration is simple; just come to the meeting, pay your dues ($15 currently) and make sure we have your name, school, and email address.
Membership in the association allows you to nominate your kids for district honors, have your kids potentially participate in the district senior all star match, nominate coaches for various state wide honors, vote on district business, and express your opinions about rule changes and other issues pertaining to high school volleyball.
Officers of the association serve 2 year terms and they do it on a totally volunteer basis. We are always looking for members who would like to step up to the plate and help out with this worthy organization!
